October Crafty News - Over 15 Releases!
Can you believe it is October already?! Where has this year gone?!
As we get a beautiful spring in our step from the flowers blossoming and bees buzzing the creative industry has given us another reason to be excited.
There are so much happening in the creative space for paper crafters, card makers and art journal artists this October starting with NEW releases!
What's NEW in October?
We have over 15 NEW releases up for pre-order on the website which means so many beautiful products to admire, secure and craft with.
The first brand we will start with is Simple Stories who have released four NEW collections that will be making their way to stores November through to December and we have to say we love ALL of them!
Simple Vintage Junk Drawer features a vintage junk journal feel with beautiful soft pinks, greens, blues and oranges. There are plenty of products in this collection to keep you creating from rub-ons, floral ephemera, decorative brads and so much more.
If you love a vintage feel to your collections this one is certainly worth a look!
Next up is the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Baby collection with Winnie The Pooh being a
re-occurring theme this year. This collection is perfect for documenting both those baby boy or baby girl pictures in your life and has a unique colour pallet of pastels.

If your family is anything like ours they LOVE Game Nights and this collection is perfect for creating about them. It features a bright colour pallet making it gender neutral (maybe even leaning a little masculine) and has some classic icons like Mr Monopoly Man, chess pieces and so much more.
Again, I think I will be adding this one to my collection to document those games of twister or when the table was flipped during Monopoly.

The last collection from Simple Stories is called Take Note and as the name suggests it features a slight stationary theme with even an ephemera packet focused on this. It has a predominant teal, navy and pink colour pallet and butterflies and flowers round out all the stationary icons giving a versatile collection.

Diving into the next brand releasing fabulous collections this month is Echo Park Paper! They have released 3 NEW collections that are simply stunning and set to arrive December to January.
First up is the bright and colourful You Are My Sunshine collection, with its green, orange and yellow colour pallet it just sends positive vibes. It has a limited number of supplies including two ephemera packs, stamps, stencils and paper but this time no chipboard.
If you have some beach, garden or summer photos coming up we feel this one will be perfect for it.

Bringing more colours and fun is the Party Animal collection, if your looking for a rainbow colour pallet then look no further! With a heavy feature of dogs and balloons this collection would be perfect for documenting your furry best friends birthday!
This one again is a limited collection, but you know what! We dig this, more money to spend on other supplies whilst getting enough to create with!

The last collection from Echo Park released this time round is called Field Trip and features a gender neutral colour pallet. With icons like zoo animals, dinosaur exhibitions, microscopes and aquarium tanks you know this one will be perfect for documenting those excursions the kids always go on.

Following along with Echo Park is the sister company Carta Bella who has released three new collections as well all set to arrive December to January.
First up if you love a trip to the vineyards for some wine tasting then you will love their Wine collection. It features gorgeous purple and red hues with a touch of green giving it the uttermost elegant feel and has floral icons, wine bottles and glasses and relaxing settings like a bathtub and books.
This collection also released a series of nesting dies that we think would be handy for any crafter and if you don't have a great collection of these in your stash then its a really handy thing to have.
Moving on to a more fun and less elegant collection is the They Say It's Your Birthday collection. With a gender neutral colour pallet of reds, yellows, greens and blues its perfect for documenting any of those birthday celebrations in your life. It has a heavy feature of cakes, balloons and presents with four different stamp sets included for you to add to your stash and re-use time and time again.
The last collection from Carta Bella is Be Mine, a Valentines Day collection - I know we have not even gotten to Halloween and Christmas yet but this is how the creative industry works.
This collection is stunning with pinks and reds for a love theme and icons like a buggy filled with roses, boxes of chocolates and beautiful sayings.

If you are into vintage then you will love the Graphic 45 brand, it is one we have not really stocked before but we are branching out! They have released two new collections and one limited edition "kit" that are due to arrive in store November.
The first collection is called Journaling Through Time and has a bright colour pallet of red, blue, yellow and green. It has some fun icons whilst maintaining that vintage vibe like old stamps, birds, flowers, ice creams and animals.
We thought this one would be perfect for any art journal makers as well as scrapbooking creatives and is worth a look.

If you are a Wizard of Oz fan then buckle up for this gorgeous collection called Wonder of Oz. From Dorothy, the Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion this one would be great for documenting those Wicked musicals or Halloween costumes.

This last one is called the Farmhouse Keepsake Edition and it is not so much a collection but a kit. You have the option of a kit with a limited edition metal die or without but included is everything you need to make several creations. It has that old school farmhouse vibe, so much so that you can almost smell the freshly baked apple pie and bread when you look at it.
This one would be perfect for taking to retreats, crops or holidays as everything you need comes in one pack ready to go!

Next up is the October Altenew release that features eleven gorgeous new products that we just can not wait to get our hands on and play with.
From embossing folders, stencils, stamps and dies this release screams spring to us with the florals and patterns. A product that we love is the "Key Hole System" dies and this month its got the Mixed Foliage Layering Die Set which is definitely worth a look. We can see it being used in scrapbooking and cardmaking.
We will be placing orders for this New release on the 17th of October! So if there is something you like, secure it whilst on pre-order because there is no guarantee we will bring it to stock in the shop.
Lastly Spellbinders has several new collections available for October and we love them all! Each one has such a different theme and feeling to them and feature so many beautiful products.
First up is the Tabbed Classic collection which includes several 3D embossing folder and die combinations to get a beautifully textured design as well as a stamp and die sentiments set and a die set for essential envelopes.
Next up is a fun one, it is the Happier Hour collection that features cocktail and milkshake glasses with witty puns all about drinking. There are plenty of fun dies to make the different drinks as well as some Betterpress plates and dies for sentiments.

Sticking with the food and drinks theme is the Buon Appetito collection from Spellbinders. If your a carb lover or foodie then the dies, stamps and stencils included in this collection is perfect for creating some fun cards to invite people to dinner or documenting your bubbas first try of messy pasta in a scrapbook.
Lastly but certainly not least is the Beautifully Imperfect collection which not only features stamps, dies, embossing folders and stencils but it has a whole paper collection to match. From the 12x12 paper pad to the ephemera and everything in between this collection is one that is hard to top.
We feel this would be great for scrapbookers, card makers and art journaling creatives alike because it holds such an artistic feel with so many interchangeable products.
